How to Measure Your Wrist
In order to select the correct band length for your wrist, you'll need to know your wrist size.
Measure your wrist with a soft tape measure around the part of your wrist that you like to wear your watch.
If you don't have a soft tape measure handy, you can measure it by wrapping a piece of string or ribbon around the part of your wrist that you like to wear your watch. Mark the length and measure it with a ruler in inches. This is your wrist size.
If your wrist size falls in between 2 lengths (ie. a 6.25" or 7.0" wrist), you have to know your preference - would you enjoy a shorter band with less tail, or a longer band with more tail?
Depending on your style, remember to consider if you like to wear your watch looser in the Summer than in the Winter.
Upgrade Your Look with a Butterfly Buckle
A Butterfly Buckle is a clasp on your band that makes your watch easier to take on and off. A butterfly buckle replaces a normal buckle on your watch band so it's always perfectly sized and easier to clasp. Set it once and it's done. It can also help your band last longer. The downside is that it’s a bit bulkier on the inside of your wrist.
Must be purchased separately - Available for our 35mm, 36mm and 38mm watches.

The Quartz Enamel Well Kit
The Quartz Enamel Well Kit includes two fine silver enamel wells and an optional inspection and sanding jig.
Each well is precisely formed to fit one of our quartz watch cases. Think of it as the canvas for your enamel artwork. The recessed "well" contains your design while providing the exact dimensions required for watchmaking.
Although the wells were originally developed for cloisonné, they also provide an excellent foundation for painted enamel, translucent enamels, Mason stains, and other vitreous enamel techniques. The well simply establishes the size and fit of the dial. How you develop the surface and decorate it is entirely your own artistic decision.
Two wells are included so you can experiment, refine your technique, or complete multiple finished dials.
Automatic Enamel Wells
Our automatic watch wells are available individually for artists creating larger, more elaborate enamel dials.
These fine silver wells feature a lightly textured surface that enhances translucent enamels by creating greater depth and visual interest beneath the finished artwork.
Unlike the quartz kit, automatic wells do not currently have a companion inspection jig, so artists should carefully verify thickness and diameter throughout the enameling process.
Optional Inspection & Sanding Jig
(32mm and 36mm Quartz)
The optional jig removes much of the guesswork from fitting an enamel dial.
If your finished dial fits the jig, it will fit the watch case.
It allows you to verify:
- overall diameter
- finished thickness
- center hole size
- counter enamel thickness
- optional time marker placement
The jig quickly shows whether additional sanding or firing is needed before your artwork is assembled into a watch.
An automatic version is currently in development.
Turning Your Artwork Into a Watch
Once your enamel dial is complete, simply send it to us.
We'll carefully inspect it, make any necessary technical adjustments, mount it onto its brass support plate, assemble the Swiss movement, install the hands, case the watch, pressure test it, and perform a full quality inspection before returning your finished timepiece.
Most completed watches are returned within 2–3 weeks and include the same two-year warranty as every Celeste Watch.
Why Precision Matters
Every watch is engineered as a complete system. The movement, dial, hands, and case are all manufactured to precise tolerances and are designed to work together.
Because of this, even small differences in diameter or thickness can affect the assembly of the watch. The Enamel Well System removes much of that uncertainty, allowing artists to concentrate on creating exceptional enamel while we handle the watchmaking.

Step two
The second step to produce a watch is to transform your beautiful enamel artwork into a working timepiece. You can do this by purchasing the Watch Service Contract.
Professional Watch Assembly
You create the artwork. We handle the watchmaking.
Your artwork is complete. Now it's time to transform it into a finished Swiss watch.
Our Professional Watch Assembly service bridges the gap between enamel artistry and precision watchmaking. Every watch is assembled by hand in our Oregon studio and carefully inspected to ensure your artwork performs beautifully as a working timepiece.
What We Do
Every watch receives:
- Careful inspection of your completed dial
- Minor fitting adjustments when appropriate
- Permanent mounting of the enamel dial onto its brass support plate
- Installation of the Swiss movement
- Installation and alignment of the hour, minute, and seconds hands
- Complete case assembly
- Precision stem fitting
- Installation of the crown and water-resistance gaskets
- Final case sealing
- 72 hours of functional testing
Only after the watch has successfully completed testing do we install the strap, issue its Certificate of Authenticity, and prepare it for shipment.
Delivery
Most watches are completed and returned within 2–3 weeks.
Your finished watch arrives in a protective travel case and includes the same two-year warranty provided with every Celeste Watch.
You may choose from a variety of vegetable-tanned leather strap colors including black, brown, tan, turquoise, olive, electric blue, coral, purple, red, and more.
If Your Dial Needs Adjustment
Our goal is to preserve your artistic vision while ensuring your watch functions properly.
Before assembly, every dial is carefully inspected. If we find a minor issue—such as a dial that is slightly oversized or too thick—we can often make small technical adjustments.
If more significant work is required, we'll contact you before proceeding. Because you know your artwork better than anyone, we believe important artistic decisions should always remain with you.
